Privacy policy

Graduate Edge is run by TalentArt AI. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. If anything here is unclear, email us at michelle.redbourn@talentartai.com.

What we collect

• Your quiz answers and the results worked out from them (your archetype and where you sit on each dimension). You don't need to give your name or sign up to take the quiz.
• Your email address, only if you give it to us. That happens when you ask us to email your result, or when you buy the full report.
• Your university and whether you want career tips from us, only if you tell us after buying.
• Payment details. Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We get a record that you paid, the amount and the email you used.
• Basic usage events, such as starting or finishing the quiz, so we can see where people drop off. These are tied to a result, not to your name.
• Meta Pixel. The site uses Meta's pixel to measure whether our Instagram and Facebook ads work. Meta may set cookies and receive information about your visit, such as pages viewed and whether you bought the report.
• Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records how people move around the site, such as where they click and scroll, and lets us watch it back as a replay. We use it to see where things are confusing, for example where people stop partway through the quiz. Form fields and personal details, including your email address and anything you type when paying, are hidden from those recordings.

Why we collect it

• To show you your result and, if you paid, your full report.
• To email you a link back to your result or report, when you ask for it.
• To send you occasional career tips and Graduate Edge news, but only if you ticked the box saying yes. We never assume it.
• To understand how the site is used and make it better.

Where it is stored

Your answers, results and email address are stored in our database, which is hosted by Supabase (through Lovable Cloud). Data may be stored on servers outside Australia and the UK, in Tokyo, Japan.

How long we keep it

• Quiz results and email addresses, if you haven't bought the report: kept for 24 months after your last visit, then deleted. Your result link stops working at that point.
• Paid reports: kept for as long as Graduate Edge is running, because the terms promise lifetime access.
• Payment records: kept for 5 years, as Australian tax law requires.
• If you unsubscribe: we keep your email address on a do-not-contact list so we can honour it. That is the only reason we keep it.

You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We only share it with the services that run the site:

• Stripe, to take payments.
• Supabase (via Lovable Cloud), to store data and run the site.
• Our email provider (Lovable's email service), to send the emails you ask for.
• Meta, for ad measurement, as described above.
• Microsoft, which provides Clarity, the session recording tool described above.

Emails and unsubscribing

Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Once you unsubscribe, we stop emailing that address.

Your rights, and deleting your data

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email michelle.redbourn@talentartai.com from the address you used and tell us what you want. If you have the link to your result, include it so we can find it quickly. We'll reply within 30 days. Deleting your data means your result link and any paid report stop working.

If you're in Australia, this policy is written with the Privacy Act 1988 in mind. If you're in the UK, you have rights under the UK GDPR, and you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data. Australian users can complain to the OAIC.
